Are you a Hypocrite?

Tennessee Williams once said “The only thing worse than a liar, is a liar that's also a hypocrite” Yes I am hypocritical I don't know what to tell ya, imma get this out the way you bout to find out anyway. Have you ever seen something and was like that ugly and then when you try it on its super cute? Girl let me tell you! It has happened to me recently. I hate being hypocritical because then it's like I have to eat my own words. Who want everyone knowing that after they just got done talking the most crap about something they go and do it. To me that just makes you look bad. Now I'm a liar, who fixing to believe a liar! Okay so I'm sitting on the couch right, and I see a commercial come on and they talking about the block heel. Yes, girl a block heel? Do all know what a block heel is? I think they use to have shoes like these back in the day but everyone liked the skinny heel better. (Have you noticed all these old stuff coming back again?) Anyway, this girl had on a black block heel with a red shirt and blue and white stripped shirt. (Might be why I didn't like it, who knows?) I took one look at them and was like no. No, no, no, no! I kept saying 'that's ugly' or 'not happening'. I was negative from the very beginning girl. I couldn't believe that people were acting putting it on and walking around in it. I was over here mind just blown! Okay, let me say that. Mind just all the way gone about this product. Has that ever happen to you? I don't know if I was in denial or what was going on about these damn shoes. Okay so let me get to the point, I am a little off topic. So I go to the shoe store right. And I have a wide foot okay. It I have a size wide I can wear either a 6 ½ or a 7. If there's not wide I gotta but that & ½ on and I hate doing that. In certain shoes, My foot just looks like it hanging off the side.

So I was looking for something to match my blue t-shirt dress. It was our first date in a while and I wanted to look cute. We were going to see The Beauty and the Beast movie. (It was good by the way). The dress was kinda casual but I wanted to dress it up. I had just got my hair done, girl I was slaying okay! So I am in the store trying to find a pair of shoes for the dress like I said I was feeling myself okay. I couldn't find too much that I liked that was cheap. (I just bought a dress and got my hair done, money was funny). I am looking throughout the shoes right. I keep seeing boots on sales, I guess they had a lot left over from the winter and fall and wanted to get rid of them. It was just starting off in the spring, some states still had snow I think. I tried on all the shoes that were on clearance, however, there wasn't anything that matched the dress and also flattered my wide foot. (Sucks to be me right?) In a couple shoes, my foot is poking out of the holes in the designs, I was low-key embarrassed. Finally, after skipping over it a couple times, I grab the block heel. The shoe was comfortable on my feet for starters okay. The sides held my foot up

even though it was skinny I was able to make my foot look as though it fitted. The heel itself was new for me. I usually wear skinny heels. With the block heel, I was able to walk easier. I walked as if I had flats on. I liked that! Sometimes my boyfriend has little surprises for me and it usually involves walking. (He knows I want to lose weight). I have worn this block heel a couple times since I have bought it and I love it. I find that its easier to walk around in. I wear to church functions and things like its very appropriate and you can stand in it for a while. At least the one I bought anyway. I have gotten so many compliments on my shoes it is crazy! I think because it's different and trendy at the same time that it catches people's attention more. I got a very simple color so it goes with a lot of my outfits and is good for pretty much any occasion. Whether it's date night, church, or just hanging with the girls. It's super universal! That might be my favorite thing about these shoes. I look for shoes that can be universal because I like the wear my outfits a couple times but I dress it differently each time.
