This our wrap up section for all things eyes, it is part 4, this is where you dot your I's and cross your T's. This last section is pretty much can make or break your eye look. Have you ever seen someone and all you can see is their eyebrows? Or someone's eyeliner was so thick you never noticed their lid color. Well, I am here to fix that, hopefully.... Honestly, this is just a guideline to help you on your makeup journey, all you have to do is pay attention. Please! I know women who have been doing their makeup for years and I still can't stand the sight of their eyebrows. In this section, I want to start with the eyebrows because well frankly its the most important. I feel as though this is messed up on more than anything else. I have no idea as to why. The first thing I want to point out as we begin is that Instagram brows are not for everyone!!! I see girls who did every step perfect but that still doesn't change the fact it doesn't fit your face. Let's start with what tool is best for you. This is going to depend on many factors. The most popular options for brow tools are pomade or a pencil. However, there are other choices out there and we are going to get into each one. Clear gel- Best for those with a pretty good amount of hair who just want to set it or shape it and hold the brow in place. Pomade- Best for those who have a nice amount of eyebrow hair and wants to add more definition and to shape it up some. Pencil- Recommended for those who want to fill in any missing hairs. This can be used for those who wanted to don't have any or many hairs or like me just have a few missing. Powder- Although it's not widely used its used for filling in sparse hairs or even light brows. Markers- No not like a permanent marker but a marker brow pencil, is good for major definition and saturated color. Now let's go into how to do your eyebrows the correct way. Start with a spoile brush and brush it in the correct way. If you want your eyebrows thick brush them up and then out to the outer corner. If you just want to keep them the thickness they just brush them out to the outer corner. Use your brush to help determine where your eyebrows should be at. The beginning of the brow should be placed along the ball of the nose. The arch should be aligned at the ball of the nose at an angle, when you're looking straight ahead it should line up with the outer edge of your iris. The outer corner of your brow will be lined up with the ball of your nose and the outer corner of your eye. If your goal is Instagram brows then at the beginning you want it too sharp and a little bit as if it faded there. Those going for a more natural look would want the start of the brow to be curved. Now it's time for eyeliner. Now I am O.C.D about eyeliner. I measure them out to make sure each side is everything is evened out in length and in thickness. If I mess up I will start all over again. Eyeliner is a must in my makeup world so this section may sound a little judge. Not every look is completed with liquid or a pencil. If you're only going to have one let gel be that one. I think everyone needs all three and I have my reasons as to why. Pencils are best used for soft, smokey looks. Liquids are for something dramatic. Gel's, on the other hand, can be manipulated so you can work them as both, in smokey looks gel can also be used as an eye base. However when you're going for a soft smoked out look pencil still looks better for this in my opinion. Liquids are best for glitter, gels are soft and can spread too easily on top of the glitter. Which is why I recommend have all three but if you're going to only have one gel is the easiest one to use as both. For those who like to use colored eyeliner but cant seem to have it decent I got you too. While you are just starting out keep it simple. Use lots of neutrals for the eyeshadows. When it comes to colors use a shade that best suits your eye color and apply as thick or thin as you would like. Winged eyeliner is my favorite! Out of every liner type, I love winged. It's always best to follow your eyes natural shade. The easiest look is to have it thin in the inner corner and have it thicken out on the outer edge. Whatever you do don't have your liner go past your brow. We see it in magazines sometimes that's more so for dramatic runway looks not something you wear to the mall or on a date. Although winged eyeliner is trending not everyone can pull this look off its harder for those with round or prominent eyes. Don't get me wrong some can do this, I'm saying that they have the most trouble with it and many of you just starting out may be better off just doing a simple eyeliner look. I hope you guys enjoyed this four-part series on All things eyes! Make sure if you have a comments or questions that you do let me know, someone else might be wondering the same thing.
